Clara J's and Golden Leaf Tearoom Visits

I visited a couple tea rooms in December that I failed to add to the blog.  I had not made reservations for proper tea at Clara J's or "high" tea at Golden Leaf, but a lunch menu was available.. Clara J's is in Maumee, Ohio and Golden Leaf is in Tipp City, Ohio.

The day I visited was warm and the teapot was only dreaming of snow.

The tea room was decorated for Christmas.  A instrumental holiday CD played softly in the background.

Ruth filled the traveling teapot with Holiday Berry tea.  It was a cranberry/raspberry blend.

Several walls of teas were available.

The owner blended us our own special tea which we named Holiday Memories.

My grandson had a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce and a side salad.

I enjoyed the chicken salad croissant.

We added scones to our lunch selections.
